Wyoming plan maximizes wolf killing

Environmental groups joined together recently to comment on the FWS proposal to remove wolves in the Northern Rockies from the list of federally protect species, opposing such a move.
The groups noted that delisting should not proceed because Wyoming lacks adequate regulatory mechanisms to protect wolves, and said the state’s wolf plan “represents Wyoming’s determination to allow the greatest possible amount of wolf-killing” without federal interference.
