Save the Wyoming Range on YouTube video
Scenic views and commentary by local advocates
September 12, 2007
The Citizens Protecting the Wyoming Range advocates have posted a video on YouTube pitching the “Too Special to Drill” perspective.
The 6:26 minute video has beautiful scenic views of the Wyoming Range interspersed with dramatic shots of drilling activity in the forest. There is also commentary by local outfitter and guide Dustin Child of Trophy Mountain Outfitters of Daniel, Gary Amerine of Greys River Trophies in Daniel, and rancher JJ Healy of the Double J Ranch on Horse Creek.
The video includes dramatic aerial footage by SkyTruth showing the extent and location of current and proposed drilling activity in the Upper Green River Valley.
Citizens Protecting the Wyoming Range is working to stop the issuance of any new oil or gas drilling leases on the 44,000 acres planned for leasing in the Wyoming Range and halt drilling in any undeveloped areas in the Bridger-Teton National Forest with the message, “Enough is Enough”.
