Report cites flaws in DOI Oil and Gas program management

In a New York Times article on Wednesday, September 26th, a recent investigative report done for the Department of Interior concludes that their “program to collect billions of dollars annually from oil and gas companies that drill on federal lands is troubled by mismanagement, ethical lapses and fears of retaliation against whistle-blowers.”
