Biomass program October 1 in Pinedale

Randy Williams of the Teton Conservation District is coming to Pinedale to provide an educational program on biomass.
The USDA Forest Service has awarded a large grant to our part of the state for forest restoration working partnerships involving the use of woody biomass, which are small trees, tree limbs and other woody plants that are byproducts of forest improvements, ecological restoration and hazardous fuel reduction treatment activities. This program would offer information on biomass utilization, stewardship contracting and the log sort yard concept promoted by the USFS Forest Products Lab of Madison, Wisconsin. The program will be Monday, October 1, 2007 at 5:30 p.m. in the County Commissioners' chambers at the courthouse.
