Music in the Park August 11
Molly Rose, Pablo Trucker and Terry Hill to perform in Pinedale
by Pinedale Fine Arts Council
August 1, 2007
The Pinedale Fine Arts Council is proud to present Seattle singer/songwriter Molly Rose live at the American Legion Park in Pinedale, Aug. 11, 2007 at 5 p.m. Molly will be joined by tour-mates, Pablo Trucker, a rollicking rock and roll duo also based out of the Seattle area. This event is free to the public.
Molly Rose moved to Seattle in 2004 and began to hurdle herself into all and everything related to music. She toured with Portland band Loch Lomond (Hush records) in 2006. In Seattle she has opened for national acts like Laura Gibson, Jon Rauhouse, Sea Wolf, and Tiny Vipers. Molly is presently in the process of recording another EP.
Karla Starr of Seattle Weekly recently wrote: “Molly Rose, in particular, has one of my favorite voices in town: she's one of those singers who can spend an entire song lulling you into a pleasure coma, only to bring chills down your spine with a few choice notes at the end.”
For more information on Molly please visit her website at www.mollyrosemusic.com where you can also stream some of her songs for free. To hear tunes from Pablo Trucker, please log on to www.myspace.com/pablotrucker.
Opening for both bands will be local guitar slinger Terry Hill who just wrapped up recording his first album, “Paso Por Aqui.”
This event is presented by the Pinedale Fine Arts Council in conjunction with the Town of Pinedale and the Sublette County Recreation Board. For more info please call 307-367-7322.
