8:58 PM Update: (Pinedale) - The Salt Lick Fire on the Bridger-Teton National Forest began around 2:00pm Wednesday afternoon 31-miles north west of the town of Pinedale, Wyoming and 5-miles south west of Green River Lakes. The fire is 2000-acres as of 9:00 pm. The rapid growth of the fire has led officials to strongly recommend evacuations at the Red Cliff Bible Camp and in holdings, which is 3 ½ miles from Highway 352.

Additionally, officials are encouraging the residents of 30 homes at the junction of Highway 352 and Forest Road 680, known as the Red Hills area, to prepare for possible evacuations. The fire danger for the Bridger-Teton is listed as extreme. For more information, visit www.inciweb.org.
