Jermy Wight

The Oregon/California Trails Association (OCTA) held a meeting and program at the Museum of the Mountain Man on Friday evening, celebrating "150 Years on the Lander Trail".

Author Jermy Wight was the guest speaker. He has written three books on the Lander Trail. His newest book, "The Jackson Hole Conspiracy-1895" just came out. Wight signed copies of his latest book after the presentation at the Museum.

Members of OCTA will have a day "Trek on the Lander Trail" on Saturday, May 19. Any interested members of the public are welcome to come along. Meet around back at The Lodge of Pinedale at 8:00 am. Bring lunch, drinks and good walking shoes. Carpooling will be encouraged.
