April 27, 2007
The Wyoming Game and Fish Department recently gave our “Peer Recognition Awards” to employees working in the agency’s seven regions in Wyoming. Among those receiving recognition was Brandon Scurlock of the Jackson/Pinedale Region.
“Brandon Scurlock was cited in handling all aspects of his high profile, politically charged position of disease management program manager skillfully. He's played a crucial role in numerous habitat improvement projects and launching several innovative brucellosis research studies. To top off his biologist skills, he's able to deftly communicate these complicated projects to a wide range of audiences from major newspapers to local ranchers. His communication prowess also extends to his dealings with the Governor's Brucellosis Coordination Team, Greater Yellowstone Interagency Brucellosis Committee and various federal agencies.”
The winners were selected by a vote of employees in each region. In previous years, the G&F awarded one statewide Peer Recognition Award.
