8 arrested in Marijuana drug bust
Residents of Jackson and Wilson, Wyoming

Seven people were arrested on Tuesday, April 17, on charges related to marijuana possession and conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance. An eighth person was arrested earlier in the investigation. All eight people, ranging in age from 18 to 56, were residents of Jackson and Wilson, Wyoming. Additional arrests are pending.
According to a Sublette County Sheriff’s Office press release, the arrests were the culmination of a six-month undercover investigation that involved Teton County Sheriff’s deputies, Jackson Police officers, Sublette County Narcotics detectives and Special Agents from the Division of Criminal Investigation, Southwest Enforcement Team.
A home in Wilson was searched pursuant to a search warrant, where authorities seized an undisclosed amount of marijuana, packaging materials and scales.
The Southwest Enforcement Team is comprised of agents from the Division of Criminal Investigation, Teton County Sheriff’s Department, Evanston Police Department, Uinta County Sheriff’s Office, Green River Police Department and the Sublette County Sheriff’s Office. These agencies cooperate and coordinate to conduct these types of operations.
“Law Enforcement would like to encourage the public to continue to provide information in a timely manner when they suspect someone engaged in illegal drug activity such as the use and distribution of drugs,” stated the SCSO release.
