Pinedale Elementary School celebrated Dr. Seuss' Birthday and the 50th Birthday of the book, Cat in the Hat. Schools across American were encouraged to celebrate reading today by reading Dr. Seuss books in their schools. Several members of the Pinedale community read Dr. Seuss books to different classes through out the day.

Birthday Cake Mrs. Mrak shows off Dr. Seuss's birthday cake.	Butter Battle The Butter Battle Book is about the ongoing battle between the Yooks and Zooks.	Grinch 'How the Grinch Stole Christmas' is one of the Dr. Seuss favorites for children.
Seuss Celebration Mrs. Hayward, along with most the elementary school staff, came to school dressed to celebrate Dr. Seuss.	Cat in the Hat JJ Huntley reads 'Cat in the Hat' to Mrs. Bennett's kindergaten class.	Cat in the Hat Theodor Seuss Geisel, or Dr. Seuss, was born March 2, 1904. He wrote more than 40 books before his death in 1991. 'Cat in the Hat' celebrates its 50th birthday today.
Nancy McDaniel reads Nancy McDaniel, Sublette County Children's Librarian, visits Mrs. Hayward's kindergaten class.	Gail Wilkerson Gail Wilkerson reads to the class.	Reading Sublette County District #1 Superintendent, Doris Woodbury, stopped by the elementary school to read in several different classes.
Honey Lion Library mascot, the badger, (named Honey Lion), is even dressed in a Seuss hat.	Bow Ties First graders line up to have their bow ties pinned on.
