2111 Peanut Butter This jar of peanut butter has the code that begins with 2111 on the lid, however the Pinedale resident who sent the picture in says their family has eaten about 2/3 of the jar and no one has come down sick. They weren't sure if they bought this jar at Faler's in Pinedale or at the Wal-Mart in Rock Springs.

2/17/09: We received a second report this morning of someone in Pinedale who found a container of Peter Pan peanut butter with the numbers “2111” stamped on the lid. It was purchased a number of months back at either Faler’s or Wal-mart in Rock Springs.

The online Casper Star-Tribune reported this morning that the Wyoming Health Department has confirmed a case of salmonella in Big Horn County that is believed to be linked to the peanut butter, as well as reports of six people with diarrhea symptoms in Casper that may be related.
