Callaghan Cabinets wins Environmental Stewardship Award

Callaghan Cabinets and Millwork Inc of Pinedale was the recent recipient of an Environmental Stewardship Award from Manufacturing-Works, which provides technical, strategic and human resources to manufactures and technically-oriented businesses in Wyoming. Awards were presented during the recent manufacturing and technology conference in Sheridan, according to a news release from the University of Wyoming.
Callaghan Cabinets received the award for its commitment to reducing waste and improving the environment for its workforce and Wyoming. The facility has over 25 employees that construct custom wood cabinetry for customers throughout the West. The company’s high quality work has been featured in many national publications including Architectural Digest, Custom Woodwork and Loghomes Illustrated.
Callaghan Cabinets’ manufacturing facilities exceed 20,000 square feet. They are equipped with state-of-the-art computer numerically controlled beam saws, point-to-point boring machine centers, edge banders and molding machines. They also have designer appliances, custom doors and moldings and antique floorings in their show room.
Pinedale residents Chopper and Lynn Grassell own Callaghan Cabinets & Millwork, and have been involved with the company for over 15 years. Callaghan Cabinets & Millwork has been in business for over 40 years doing custom cabinetry and millwork.
Manufacturing-Works provides technical, strategic and human resource assistance to manufacturers and technically-oriented business in Wyoming, and is a partnership with the National Institute of Standards and Technology, the Wyoming Business Council and the University of Wyoming. Manufacturing-Works has served manufacturers in the state for the past 10 years. It is a statewide manufacturing assistance program with main offices at UW. Branch offices also are located in Casper, Cheyenne, Gillette, Powell, Riverton and Rock Springs. Manufacturers are provided low-cost technical assistance -- mostly through on-site consultation in the areas of engineering, operations, management and marketing. It also conducts seminars, industry roundtables, and objective equipment and software demonstrations. New areas of focus include export/import bank assistance and OSHA compliance reviews and training.
