Fugitive may still be in Sublette County
May 4, 2006
Update Monday, May 8, 2006: Beumer still has not been apprehended. Please be on the lookout for him. This man is considered extremely dangerous; do not attempt to make contact with him. If you see him, call Law Enforcement immediately.
The Sublette County Sheriff's Office is still asking the public to be on the alert for a wanted fugitive who may be in Sublette County. Photos of his face (see picture at right) and of the extensive tatoos on his chest and arms, have been released to help in identifying him. Click on the link at the end of this article to see the photo showing a detail of Beumer's tatooes. (If your browser shrinks the photo, hover your mouse over the top of the picture until the box with the 4-way arrows appears and click on it to make the picture big again.)
The man, Rick R. Beumer, 42, is a white male approximately 5’8" tall, weighing about 182 lbs. He has long brown hair, brown eyes and numerous tattoos on his upper body and on his arms. He may also have a brown beard and moustache. He has many tattoos on his forearms that go down to his hands, making them very distinctive.
Beumer is a complete stranger to Sublette County. There are other men in the county who also have somewhat similar tatoos who are apparently having 911 called on them. Please look closely at these photos to become familiar with this man's characteristics. The tatoos on his arms completely ink over his skin and go down to the webs of his fingers on his hands. He has a tatoo of the "Lion King" cub on his lower abdomen around his belly button.
Rick Beumer is considered "extremely dangerous". If seen, do not attempt to detain or make contact with him. Call 911 and report any sightings to the Sublette County Sheriff's Office.
