Summer fun at the National Museum of Wildlife Art
Jackson offers special cultural programs for kids and adults

Jackson Hole is just a hop, skip and a jump from Pinedale, and they have a lot of fun things to do for kids this summer. The National Museum of Wildlife Art (NMWA) in Jackson invites visitors and members to enjoy their popular Summer Family Fun series, Children's Discover Gallery and Visiting Exhibitions. Programs are FREE for NMWA members or with museum admission. Children 18 and under get in free when accompanied by an adult. Adults are $10.

THURSDAYS, JUN 15 - AUG 24 Summer Film Series, 2:00 pm
Each Thursday travel the globe from Africa to Yellowstone as the NMWA screens films from the Jackson Hole Wildlife Film Festival. This summer the museum will screen films about some of the endangered animals that Andy Warhol portrayed in his Endangered Species and Vanishing Animals. Most films are one hour or less. Program is FREE with museum admission or NMWA membership. Film begins at 2:00 pm at the Cook Auditorium.

MONDAYS, JUN 12 - AUG 21 Young at Art, 10:30-11:15 am
Art classes for toddlers ages five and under, accompanied by their caregiver, focusing on the simple art concepts of color, shape, texture and line. Children will learn about art and animals by looking at works in the museum galleries and doing fun, hands-on activities. Call 307-732-5435 for program details. FREE for members or with museum admission.
