SCSO Escapee Alert – Sublette County
Sheriff's Office: Man 'extremely dangerous'

The Sublette County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) is warning the public in Sublette County to be on the alert for a man who is "extremely dangerous" and believed to be traveling to Sublette County.
Law enforcement agencies from Lander alerted SCSO about the man earlier on Friday in relation to a stolen vehicle report. Information leads caused them to believe he may be en-route to Sublette County attempting to locate his girlfriend. Unofficial information is that he was headed to the Big Piney area where she is believed to be.
The man, Rick R. Beumer, 42, is a white male approximately 5’8" tall, weighing about 182 lbs. He has long brown hair, brown eyes and numerous tattoos on his upper body and on his arms. The SCSO press release said he may also have a brown beard and moustache. Unofficial information is that his tattoos are extensive on his forearms and go down to his hands, making them very distinctive.
He was last seen wearing an orange Fremont County jumpsuit. Beumer may have since changed clothes. Unofficial information is that he may be hitchhiking.
The vehicle he was believed to be driving was found broken down on US Hwy 28, east of Farson earlier this afternoon, however Beumer was not with the vehicle.
The SCSO advises the public, "This man is extremely dangerous." If seen, do not attempt to make contact or to apprehend him. Call 911 and report any sightings of Beumer to the Sheriff's Office.
