Nikki Wadsworth

Pinedale) Nikki Wadsworth, a sixth grader at Pinedale Middle School, has earned the "Principal of the Day Award". Nikki enjoys reading, 4H horse projects and trail riding with her family. Librarian Peggy Bell says she checks out "a lot of books about horses". Nikki said the last horse book she read was the classic, Black Beauty, by Anna Sewell.

Nikki has this advice for fellow students who want to receive this award, "Read a lot; that’s it," she said. Nikki took tests on 62 qualifying books in order to acquire enough points to earn this recognition. Nikki’s favorite subject in school is math. Her mother, Sue Wadsworth, is the district school nurse.
