Finally Found Wind Ready to Start

The annual Little America's Cup Sailing Regatta was held August 13-14, 2005, on Fremont Lake near Pinedale. The event is hosted by the Pinedale Boat Club. Twenty-one boats and catamarans entered the races on Sunday.

Sunday was hampered by very little wind providing a dificult challenge and very slow paced races.

The first race was canceled after an hour of struggling on the lake course. The wind picked up in the afternoon allowing the second race.

It was a beautiful day to be on Fremont Lake. Many others showed up to watch the races, motorboat, fish, water ski, jet ski, kayak and just play on the beach. Lakeside Lodge hosted the racers and spectators.
