Getting extra speed

The annual Pinedale Boat Club Sailing Regatta on Fremont Lake was held August 7-8, 2004. Saturday had lots of wind and sun making it a great sailing day. Twenty boats competed in three races. The wind provided a great challenge for the experienced sailors who can push their boats to the limit. Sunday was a different story with very little wind providing a different challenge and very slow paced races. It was still a beautiful day to be on the lake. Many others showed up to motorboat, fish, water ski, jet ski, kayak, paddle boat, watch the races, and just play on the beach. Lakeside Lodge hosted the racers and spectators.
