Helicopter rides for Wyoming bighorn sheep

The Wyoming Migration Initiative is doing their annual bighorn sheep study in the Upper Green. They capture up high, transport the animals via helicopter to the Upper Green snowmobile parking lot at the Forest boundary, do biometrics, and then fly them back to their home high in the Wind River Mountains. These photos were taken Wednesday and Thursday, March 28th and 29th in the Upper Green.
