Cutting the Centennial cake
The Sublette County Centennial Barn Dance celebration was held on Saturday, Sept. 25th at the Sublette County Fairgrounds. One of the highlights of the event was the cutting of the Centennial cake by centenarian Ellen Reed. Debbee Woyciesjes, from the Sublette County Centennial Committee, helps Ellen cut the cake.

Celebrating 100 Years of Sublette County history

The Sublette Centennial Barn Dance will be held on Sunday, Sept 25th from 3:00PM to 7:00PM at the Sublette County Fairgrounds. Join the party as we celebrate Sublette County's Centennial in true homesteader style - with a Barn Dance! There will be live music by Jared Rogerson & the Rodeo Wreck, Emcee will be Andy Nelson. There will also be history highlights, food, kids’ activities, free family photos, family games and more. Admission will be free for all Sublette County residents. The first 400 people to register will receive a very special commemorative item.
Reserve your spot online via Facebook or stop by the following locations for them to assist you: Marbleton Town Hall, Sublette County Visitor Center, Office Outlet in Big Piney & Pinedale, Southwest Sublette County Pioneers Senior Citizens Center, Rendezvous Pointe, Museum of the Mountain Man and Green River Valley Museum. Schedule: 3pm: Activities start - games, family photos, kids’ activities, visiting, cash bar. 4pm: Enjoy a Taste of Sublette County with our many local food partners! 4:30pm: Brief welcome and history presentation. 5pm: Live music
