The Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality, Water Quality Division, Watershed Protection Program has released a report that describes findings from a probabilistic (census-like) water quality survey of perennial streams and rivers of the Green River Basin.

Results from this survey provide an objective representation of the aquatic biological condition of Green River Basin perennial streams and rivers and their suitability for drinking water, fish consumption, and recreation based on selected water quality and biological indicators.

his study also identifies the most common stressors and their relative impact to aquatic biological condition.
