Town of Pinedale residents offered NO COST COVID-19 Antibody Tests
by Town of Pinedale
November 30, 2020
Beginning December 2, 2020, any resident of the Town of Pinedale may schedule an appointment at the Pinedale Medical Clinic for a COVID 19 Antibody Test. The testing is being paid for through a CARES Act funded grant applied for and received by the Town of Pinedale.
This testing is being offered in an effort to better understand the prevalence of COVID-19, our local community’s health risks and help stop community spread of the virus. The Sublette County Rural Healthcare District has graciously taken on the task of conducting the testing at the Pinedale Medical Clinic.
There are two types of tests for COVID-19. Viral tests tell you if you have a current infection, and antibody tests tell you if you've been previously infected. The Antibody test that is being offered will tell if you have had COVID-19 in the past and is NOT a test to tell if you currently have COVID-19.
Testing is conducted by a blood draw. Lab draws are being performed at the Pinedale Clinic only. Results are made available to the patient within 3-5 business days through the Clinic Patient Portal.
All testing must be completed by Dec 31, 2020 date. Appointments are mandatory and may be made by calling 307-367-4133.
Residents must provide a town water bill or be on the registered voter list to prove eligibility at check in. Youth may be accompanied by a parent or guardian with one of the credentials listed above.
Test kits are limited, so schedule your appointment early.
For additional information please call the Pinedale Town Hall at 307-367-4136.
