On Monday, June 13, 2016, at approximately 7:35 PM, Sublette County Unified Fire was dispatched to a reported structure fire at 16 Faler Lane in Pinedale. Upon arrival the structure was fully involved. Firefighters took a defensive stance to protect an adjacent shed and camper to prevent those structures from becoming involved as well. Once a water supply was established firefighters worked to contain and extinguish the fire in the building of origin. The fire is currently under investigation.
Three battalions responded with apparatus to the scene, including Pinedale, Boulder and Daniel. Approximately 25 volunteer firefighters worked together until late in the night to suppress the fire. No injuries were reported.
Sublette County Unified Fire would like to thank the efforts of Pinedale Natural Gas, Rocky Mountain Power, and the Sublette County Sheriff’s Office especially Deputy Jacob Norman for his quick actions in assisting the homeowners in saving their vehicle and Sublette County Rural Health Care District EMS for all of their assistance.
