Tie in Town of Pinedale municipal election leaves one seat undecided

Unofficial results, still must be confirmed by canvassing board:

Nylla Kunard wins 2-year term.

Tyler Swafford wins one of the 4-year terms.

There is a tie between Miriam Carlson and Jim Brost for the third seat.

The unofficial results of the May 3, 2016 municipal election are pending review from the Canvassing Board. The report below is not in any way an official announcement of winners.

Gary Heuck - 32
Nylla Kunard - 129
Jim Brost - 112
John Foggerty - 84
Tyler Swafford - 148
Miriam Carlson - 112

The Canvassing Board will meet on Thursday, May 5 at 10:00 AM to certify the election results.

256 voted in person. 8 Absentee ballots were submitted.
