Veterans Day observance in Pinedale
November 11, 2015

American Legion Post 47 and VFW Post 4801 and Auxiliaries hosted the Veterans Day observance in Pinedale on Tuesday, November 11th to honor veterans past and present. The Pinedale High School Band and Choir provided musical selections. The band was directed by Justin C. Smith and the Choir was directed by Gregory Allen. Preston Goulette, American Legion Commander, led the ceremony. Special guest speaker was Doug Uhrig, Past Department Commander. Boys and Girls State Representatives, Emmilee Eaton, Catlin Hetrick, Savannah Rutsch and Nathan Lee related their experiences. Randy Belton led the invocation and Benediction. Sam Staten and Shaun Andersen played "Taps". A public luncheon was served at the VFW Post 4801 following the program.
