On Sunday, November 29, 2015 at approximately 23:46 hours (11:46PM), Sublette County Unified Fire was dispatched to respond to a structure fire at #2 Dull Knife Lane in Daniel (north of Forty Rod Rd in Green River Ranches) with a report of the porch on fire. Upon arrival, the structure was 1/3 engulfed in flames. Volunteer firefighters from Daniel, Bondurant, Pinedale and Big Piney responded. With no nearby water source, they were on scene throughout the night with temperatures dipping well below zero degrees. The fire took the structure down to the foundation. The majority of the heat was cooled by 09:30 hours on November 30 when they left the incident scene. Sublette County Unified Fire extends their thanks to Sublette County Road & Bridge for assistance with plow/sand in the driveway area; also the Sublette County Sheriff’s Office and Sublette County Emergency Management.
