Don't miss the 24th running of the Pinedale Turkey Trot 5000 to be held Thanksgiving morning, Thursday, November 27th, starting at the Sheppard's house, 22 Sportsmans Loop.
This is a 3-mile fun run, walk or trot and it starts at 9 AM. All levels of fitness are welcomed. Participants are welcome to get into the T-Day spirit by dressing up in Thanksgiving Day costume. This is a pet-friendly event and participants are welcome to bring their 4-legged canine friends to participate with them. Any mode of exercise is encouraged, including bikes. The weather could be anything from balmy to frigid, so dress accordingly.
Everyone needs to register, however there is no charge to enter unless you want to get a long-sleeved turkey trot t-shirt ($15-$22). Registration starts at 8:30 AM.
There have been over 200 participants in the past, so organizers hope to add to the growing field again this year.
