Trees torch on the south side of Middle Piney Creek on Sunday, July 1st. The trees are 30-40 feet high and the flames tower above them. The fire has spotted onto the North side of Middle Piney Rd. just west of Joe Budd Ranch. Engines and aircraft responded. The Middle Piney road had been open to the public until today, but non-firefighting personnel were evacuated from the drainage when the fire exhibited extreme behavior.
