When a car accident left Dave Harper wheelchair bound at age 16, he began an inspiring journey of personal discovery and determination to carve a rewarding life out of the ruins of tragedy. Dave will speak at the Sublette County Library at 155 S Tyler Ave in Pinedale on Thursday, June 28th 6:30 pm about his unique experiences and resilience through his faith that is inspiring for anyone facing insurmountable hardship. His two memoirs, Wager the Wild Land: a Paraplegic's Triumph over Tragedy and Vanquishing the Void: a Paraplegic Discovers New Purpose, will be available for purchase and signing.
