Sommers Homestead

The newly renovated Sommers Homestead property opened to the public Saturday with a hearty home-cooked meal, breads and desserts. More than 200 people stopped by to see the first stage of Albert and Jonita Sommers’ conservation and preservation project – updating the original log cabin for visitors.
