Honor Flight
Big Piney resident Bob Linn, 85, hugs his daughter-in-law Kim Linn Thursday after he deplanes from an honor flight that took the World War II veteran to Washington, D.C. The Wyoming Honor Flight, in participation with the Veterans Commission, flew 110 Wyoming veterans to visit the WWII National Memorial. It was Linn’s first trip to the nation’s capitol. Several other WWII veterans including Bud Decker of Pinedale, Alvin Chapman of La Barge and Clarence Vickrey of La Barge had participated in previous honor flights.
