Birdhouse & Birdfeeder Building Competition
In conjunction with the upcoming 5th Annual Home & Garden Show in Pinedale May 9-10

The Pinedale Lions Club is excited to announce a new event in conjunction with the upcoming 5th Annual Home & Garden Show to be held May 9 & 10, 2008. A Birdhouse & Birdfeeder Building Competition will be judged during the Home & Garden Show, with proceeds from a silent auction of the entries going to several Lions Club projects.
Contest entry forms and details are now available at the Sublette County Visitor Center and the Sublette County Library in Pinedale.
Prize sponsors are being allowed to create their own fun categories. Sponsors so far include:
James Thomas, High Mountain Real Estate: "People’s Choice Award", $200 cash prize.
Pinedale Lumber, Rocky Mountain Home Center" “Best Youth Entry – Under 8”, $75.00
Chambers Design-Build: “Most Appropriate for Sublette County”, $150.00
Rocky Mountain Bank, Sublette County Chamber of Commerce: “Most Wanted New Business” $50.00
Big J Auto Parts: “Most Mechanical Entry”

Entries turned in prior to the show will be featured around town and in Home & Garden Show advertising.
The Library has brought in books to provide great ideas and free building plans are available for bluebird boxes.
Submissions will become the property of the Pinedale Lions Club and will be sold at silent auction following the judging on Saturday, May 10. Money raised from this event will be used for three special Lions projects; locally for the new Diabetes Awareness program, statewide for the Allen H. Stewart Camp for the Blind in Casper, and internationally for Campaign Sight First II, a program to eradicate preventable blindness throughout the world.
