3 Pinedale students qualify for National History Day

Three Pinedale High School students qualified to represent Wyoming at National History Day in College Park, Maryland next month. The three students are Kathryn Konicek and Morgan Holz for their group performance, "Bohemian Rhapsody," and Meredith Noble for her individual exhibit, "Mountaineers at War: The 10th Mountain Division during World War II." Their proud coach is Ms. Ann Noble.
At State competition Kathryn Konicek and Morgan Holz also won the Liz Byrd Cultural Diversity Award for the Best Entry which Represents an Aspect of Cultural Diversity or Human Rights.
ALSO BIG NEWS: Middle School Social Studies Teacher Mr. Mitch Irrgang won the Teacher of Merit 2006-2007 at Wyoming History Day for the Teacher who has made an outstanding contribution to Wyoming History Day.
Wyoming History Day Competition was held at the University of Wyoming in Laramie on April 23, 2007. Twenty-three students from Pinedale competed. Good luck to our three high school students at Nationals!!
