Two arrested in shooting incident at ZZZ Inn

Sublette County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) Deputies and a Wyoming Highway Patrol Trooper were sent to the ZZZZ Inn motel in Pinedale on Saturday, June 24th, in response to a report that shots had been fired and a fight occurring between two occupants of the motel.
According to a SCSO news release, officers found that upon their arrival the suspects had left the scene. Shortly thereafter, the two were apprehended in a traffic stop on Highway 191. Shelly Brown Pearce and Jerry Brandon Pearce, both from Oklahoma, were arrested.
Upon investigating the scene, the SCSO reported that one bullet had been shot from a handgun into the wall of a motel room. It reentered the adjacent room and pierced another wall in the same room. There were no injuries in the incident. The case is still under investigation.
