Go sailing! Fremont Lake is 11 miles long and a mile wide. The Fremont Lake Sailing Regatta, held each year in August, dots the lake with colorful sailing boats.

National Historic Trails
Take a self-guided trip along the emigrant trails of the late 1800s. The Oregon Trail, Sublette Cut-Off and Lander Cut-Off trails go through our county. Many portions of the trail are still visible and can be traversed today with a high-clearance vehicle, 4-wheeler or mountain bike.
