4th annual Ski and Snowboard Race at White Pine Ski Area

The 4th annual Caroline Classic GS ski race was held on Saturday, March 25th at White Pine Ski area. The event is organized by the Sublette County Ski and Snowboard Club.
Over 100 racers skied in the event, ranging in age from preschoolers through adult. John Suder, from Jackson Hole Ski Club, had the fastest time for a single run down the course in under a minute at 57.38. Skiers and spectators enjoyed the beautiful weather and blue skies.
The annual race is not just for kids. All ages and abilities are welcome, and school teams often come over to compete in the event. Racers can compete in ski or snowboard classes. "Anyone who wants to come up and have fun is welcome to participate," said race organizer Cassy Johnston, "It’s open to anyone and everyone."
