Meetings and events this week

There are many events going on this week. Interested in joining a local bird club? How about signing up your child for Little League or archery? You can participate in the local Writer’s Group or attend a community meeting about possibly getting a new Recreation Center for south county in Big Piney/Marbleton. And don’t miss the upcoming PFAC sponsored performance by the Drum Brothers on Thursday evening in Pinedale. The Drum Brothers will also be hosting a FREE workshop on Wednesday evening. The week tops off with Pinedale vs Big Piney basketball games in Big Piney on Friday afternoon.

14: Happy Valentine's Day!
14: Baked Potato Bar & Salad Buffet, Masonic Lodge in Marbleton. Sponsored by the Big Piney Chapter No. 42 Order of the Eastern Star. Everyone welcome. 11:30 am - 1:30 pm. Cost is $7/person.
15: Sublette County Little League Player Registration 5-7 pm. Pinedale Entertainment Center, Big Piney Library, LaBarge Elementary School.
15: Wind River Archers club meeting Meeting upstairs at the Sublette County Ice Arena
15: 4H Skillathon at the Pinedale Sublette County Extension office. 3:30 pm
15: Meeting of the Upper Green River Basin Joint Powers Board Pinedale Firehall meeting room, 3 pm.
16: 4H Skillathon at the Big Piney Sublette County Extension office. 3:30 pm

16: Community Drum Circle & Drum Workshop. 6-8 pm, Pinedale High School Auditorium stage, 6-8 pm. FREE to the public. Come see the Drum Brothers in concert on Thursday at 7:30 pm.
17: Meeting to discuss building a Marbleton/Big Piney Community Rec Center 6 pm, Marbleton Inn. Anyone interested in the project is welcome to attend. For more info, contact either the Big Piney or Marbleton Town Halls.

19: Pinedale vs Big Piney Basketball Games in Big Piney at 1 PM, 2:30 and 4 pm.
19: Horse Handling Clinic at the Sublette County Ag Center Part 2 of 3. Last session for this clinic will be March 12 from 10 am to 5 pm. $100 participation fee or $40/session.
