Fishing Report

Spring Fishing

Our area streams are starting to open with the warmer days of spring. The Green is open and ice free and fishing good. The flow at Warren Bridge is 480 cfs, good for float fishing. Trout are taking any big streamer pattern with brown and yellow in it. Rubber legs like Bitch Creeks are great also.

The New Fork is fishing well also. It is flowing at 560 cfs at Highway 351, a good flow for trout and fishermen. Try the same patterns I mentioned for the Green.

The Green below Fontenelle Reservoir is flowing 780 cfs and is fishing great. The rainbows are starting to get on their redds. Nymph fishing through the runs with Pheasant Tails and Scuds in the 14 to 16 size range is producing some nice trout. Streamers like Egg Sucking Leaches and Brown Zuddlers have been working great below the runs for browns.
