Pinedale hosted a Midget (high school age) tournament with Rock Springs,
Douglas, Riverton and Rawlins

Pinedale Glacier Midgets tournament lasted all weekend.

The ice on 11-mile long Fremont Lake is frozen almost up to the inlet.
|
Folks ice skated, played hockey, and everyone looked down through the
ice to see the lake bottom.

Fremont Lake freezes clear only once every decade or so. You can see
through the ice to the ice chunks below. Fish can be seen swimming below
the ice in places.
