November Snow at Historic Bondurant and Gros Ventre Mountains
The historic hamlet of Bondurant is a great place to do
photography of Gros Ventre Mountains and Sawtooths
that shoot up vertically around the Noble Basin valley.
It was noticed that these mountains got abundant snow
accumulation from recent snow storms that started
arriving since last month (October). I drove on Jack
Creek and Dell Creek roads that led to historic
homesteads, ranches, and dude ranches. The snowy
peaks of Gros Ventres and Sawtooths just beyond were
splendid and majestic with deepening colors from the
dying sunlight as the sun set.

My wife, Karen, and I moved to Pinedale recently (summer of 2006) to retire and pursue our dreams that we have put on the shelf for a long time. I have been doing nature photography on and off during my time with different work careers before moving to Pinedale. My current camera is Kodak, 5.0 mega pixels, 10X zoom. I practice with this camera to get desired composition, framing, light intensity/shadowing, emotion capturing (subject showing different moods), etc. In the near future, I hope to get a more powerful camera (Nikkon or Cannon) with higher number of mega pixels and more X for zoom. If you have any questions or comments about my photos, please feel free to contact me. My email address is: scott.karen.windrivers@centurytel.net
