Northern Tetons From Wheat Field
|
There is a small turnout off the highway north of Jackson Lake where a non-descript meadow contains some of the most amazing photography. The views are great and the aspens are really special--tall, vividly white and curving trunks. On this trip the leaves had not yet changed, but the scenery was spectacular, none the less. I have nicknamed this location the "wheat field" because of the tall grass which grows there each year which turns a golden color as it cures in the cold fall temperatures.
