This picture was taken at the lower boat docks on the south-end of Fremont Lake. I had intended to expose the image for one-hour, until the outside lights on the adjacent home came on, lighting up the snowy frozen surface of Fremont Lake. The picture was exposed for 26 minutes. I used a Canon 40D, with a Canon 17-40 L Series lens at f4.0. ISO set at 200. In retrospect I might have gone longer, and I would have parked further away from my camera, as the truck interior lighting lit up the nearby bushes and aspen branches. But, the homes exterior lights did provide an interesting perspective to the image. Live and learn!/djb
