Waxing Crescent Moon over Pinedale, which sequentially followed the sunset by about an hour. I shot this from my house using a 300mm/f2.8 and Canon 40d at f2.8/4 second shutter at 1600 ISO. The picture is interesting because of the perspectives a long lens puts on things. The light in the lower part of the picture is glow from the lights at the new Elementary School, then bald ridges west of Pinedale which are lit up from lights in Pinedale, with Wyoming Peak as the pyramid shaped peak just left of picture center, and below the cloud. Wyoming Peak is the highest peak (11,378') in the Wyoming Range and is probably 40 miles away./d
