The water flow in the creek was low--reflecting the lateness of the season. Much low lying vegetation has already gone into fall mode--and is dormant or done growing for the season. Temperatures dipped into the low teens on Tuesday, August 30, 2005 when the second of two dry cold fronts passed through the mountains.
