It was cool. I mean that literally. The moon came and went through the clouds and ground fog and it ended up being a really fun experience. I scouted earlier today the "battleship buttes" south of Cottonwood and felt this would be a unique place to try to capture the latest lunar eclipse and have some fun with some light painting. It is a bit of a hike into the backside of the buttes and dark--but that is the point, right! Thanks to either the Trooper or Deputy who stopped and checked on my car while I was behind the buttes shooting up at the moon./djb
