The drive into Spring Creek Park is dry and dusty. The trail is also dry and other than quite a lot of down timber (beetle kill), is a very nice walk. The snowline occurs in the usual spot--about 1/2 mile beyond the wilderness boundary. As the trail enters the timber the drifts go from none to 4 feet in less than 25 yards. Bugs are fairly intense on the Glimpse Lake trail.
