9 AM Race Start at Middle Piney parking lot - Spectators welcome!
On the morning of the 29 th, the mushers head to Middle Piney parking lot west of Big Piney.  They take off from the Start Line beginning at 9:00 AM. They will make a 54-mile loop and return to cross the Finish Line at the Middle Piney parking lot.

After they finish the BP/Marbleton leg of the race, mushers will care for their dogs and then pack up their trucks and dog and drive to Alpine for the next leg of the IPSSSDR race.

The IPSSSDR, the largest sled dog race in the lower 48 states.

Host-town festivities will take place in Lander, Pinedale, Big Piney, Marbleton, Kemmerer, Diamondville, Evanston, Lyman, Mountain View, Alpine and Park City, Utah.

Pedigree® Food for Dogs is the title sponsor of the IPSSSDR. The Pedigree® brand actively supports a wide range of programs that promote responsible pet ownership and highlight the contributions dogs make to society. They will be donating pet food to animal shelters on the race route.

IPSSSDR merchandise will be available at the Sublette County Chamber of Commerce - Sublette Visitor Center and at the finish line and banquet in Pinedale.
